It had been several years since the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AC had last held a collective event in Switzerland. The wine tasting last June was a good opportunity to catch up with our Swiss aficionados!
The tasting was organised at Hotel Metropol, in Zürich, with the help of VINUM magazine and gathered 15 wineries who had come all the way from Châteauneuf-du-Pape to present their wines to Swiss wine professionals.
On the same afternoon, journalist Rolf Bichsel, who has in-depth knowledge of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AC, conducted 2 seminars in a separate reception room. The first seminar, dedicated to the press, dealt with old vintages, when the second one focused on the lavish 2012 vintage.
Later on in the day, the tasting became more widely open to Vinum subscribers and wine connoisseurs.
